Victoria’s dance training began at the age of three and she began competitive dance training just a few years later. For 12 years she competed at regional and national levels. During her time at Rancho Bernardo High School, Victoria was a member of the Tour De Force Varsity Dance team all four years, and a member of the Competition Dance Team; winning regional, national, and international awards.
In her later years of high school, Victoria trained with Unity Dance Ensemble under the direction of Emmy Award winning Tessandra Chavez. While completing her Bachelor’s degree in Sociocultural Anthropology and minor in Dance at UC San Diego, she added to her dance training as a member of the national award winning DanceSport Competitive Latin Ballroom Team under the direction of Peter Edwards. When completing her degree in dance at UCSD, she trained in everthing from classical ballet, to West African, to traditional East Asian styles, and has now trained in over 30 global dance styles. After graduating from UCSD, Victoria trained as a scholarship student at Academy of Performing Arts, San Diego.
Victoria has been featured as a national competition judge on the Lifetime Television Network, Dance Moms. As choreographer and instructor, Victoria has taught and choreographed for the City Ballet School, Dehesa Charter School, and Del Norte High School. She currently trains competitive dancers, and teaches seven styles of dance at Love to Dance, Inc., and is a desired guest instructor at many studios in Southern California.
